Browlift (Endoscopic Browlift)
Today's aesthetic is natural unlike the overly sculpted look of the past. The goal is to achieve a more youthful natural looking appearance.
The upper one-third of the face is usually the area to show aging first. You'll recognize these changes as: crow's feet, eyelid wrinkles, crepey and deflated eyelids, overall eyelid droopiness, under-eye bags and bulges, and under-eye hollows. Choices for rejuvenating the upper face used to be limited to surgery. Today upper-face rejuvenation can be accomplished with surgery to achieve permanent results - or without surgery to achieve temporary results. During your personal consultation, CCI will determine the treatment that is right for you.
Are You A Good Candidate for a Browlift?
If you are concerned about unwanted age-related changes in the upper one-third of your face such as: crow's feet, eyelid wrinkles, deflated and/or crepey eyelids, overall eyelid droopiness, under-eye bags and bulges and hollows, you could be an ideal candidate for a Browlift. You should be in otherwise good health and have realistic expectations.
First consults are critical for the patient and the surgeon - these visits are always done face-to-face with the surgeon.
SURGICAL BROWLIFT - WHAT TO EXPECT:
After making the necessary incisions (depending upon the technique being used), CCI will work through the incisions to lift sagging muscles and skin and to remove excess fat. Once the muscles are repositioned, the incisions are closed. The procedure used will determine the anesthetic to be used. Some swelling and bruising are normal and to be expected. This resolves in a few days leaving your more youthful appearance clearly visible. There are several techniques in use today and the one CCI uses for you will be determined by your goals, needs, hairline, skin elasticity, and other factors.
BROWLIFT TECHNIQUES:
- Browpexy: using an incision hidden just above the eyebrow
- Mid-forehead browlift: to reduce forehead furrows
- Trichophytic browlift: using an incision at the hairline
- Endoscopic browlift: the most popular method today allowing for smaller, hidden incisions and subtle brow elevation that looks very natural
- Brow Fixation: a variety of techniques exist for this procedure
COMMON QUESTIONS ABOUT BROWLIFT:
How painful is Browlift Surgery? Our patients tell us they experience discomfort rather than pain. Any discomfort you may experience is easily managed with oral pain medication and diminishes each day.
How long will I be out of work?
After Browlift surgery you will be presentable to return to work within 7-10 days. With Botox Browlift, the time varies with each patient.
Will I be awake during surgery?
No. You will be given IV sedation and local anesthetic so you will be asleep and will not hear or feel anything.
How long after surgery will the swelling and bruising last?
Much of the swelling and bruising will be gone within 7-10 days. Over the next few weeks, as you heal, the residual swelling and bruising quickly diminish until gone.
What about the incisions?
The incisions are one half to one inch long and are well concealed in the hairline. Over time they become totally inconspicuous.

Non Surgical Browlift
Botox Cosmetic Browlift is one of today's most popular temporary - non-surgical options for men and women who are not surgery candidates. Botox has been in use for nearly two decades, around the world, in a variety of medical procedures. Today its uses keep expanding as it has proven to be safe and effective with high patient satisfaction.
BOTOX COSMETIC - NON-SURGICAL BROWLIFT
Surgery is not always an option. In these cases Botox may be the right answer for elevating the eyebrow. Botox injections work by relaxing (depressing) muscles that cause wrinkles, furrows, and angry or sad looking eyebrows. When injected into the muscles that pull-down the brows, Botox inhibits muscle contractions leaving those muscles unopposed. This allows wrinkles to smooth out and the eyebrows to elevate normally with results that last for several months. Botox Browlift is appropriate for mild brow drooping only, and Botox Browlift results cannot be compared with surgical results. These results will be subtle and mild which is all that many people need.
This technique works very well but requires a good, firm understanding of the facial muscle anatomy to avoid an undesired effect. It is important to choose a surgeon who is an expert in procedures of the head and neck and who is highly skilled and experienced in injection treatments.
